Choice is good. But, sometimes, choice can be bad.
PubCon 2006 in Boston is quickly approaching and it’s time to decide where to go, who to see, and what to learn. And from the session layout, it’s not going to be an easy decision.
Some choices are obvious - Search Engine Content Copywriting and Blogging, Podcasting, and RSS Feeds.
But, then there are the conflicting sessions - Link Building Campaign or Conversion Tweaking or Super Affiliates In Highly Competitive Markets or Organic Site Review?
Did you see the panel for the Organic Site Review session? It would be a golden opportunity to get some hints and techniques from actual live site critiques.
There are even a few other potentially great workshop conflicts thrown in there for good measure.
Why, oh why, couldn’t they put all of my obvious choices in separate sessions so I could attend them all? Okay, I’m well aware that I am not the only person attending PubCon so I should probably get over it. Quickly.
Time for me to look at this as an opportunity to reevaluate where I’m truly expending my energy and focus more precisely on what I intend to do online in the immediate future.
That’s really all it boils down to, right? Focusing on the immediate to help build your future.
