This past Sunday, The New York Times Magazine published a piece on the language of the blogosphere.
Blargon, written by William Safire, featured a couple quotes from me and referenced my newest website - Blogossary.
Initially, Blogossary was forgotten. I registered the domain in 2005, set up the questionnaire, and pretty much set the site on the back burner. My professional (i.e. commercial) projects took precedence.
When I was finally weary from reading the “when are you going to launch this site” questions, I finally put it at the top of my to-do list for 2006.
I never imagined that it would be referenced in the New York Times less than a month after launch. Ain’t life grand?
Since Blogossary was met with quite a few positive and encouraging comments (thank you), I plan to dedicate a bit more time to it.
One day, I hope to build it into a resource for novice to professional bloggers alike.
In the meantime, I will work on getting the blog up and running (can’t have a website dedicated to blogs with no blog - now can I?) and getting the blogger interviews online.

[…] Blogossary earned itself an honourable mention in the New York Times Magazine without being completely finalized. Reader feedback even prompted me to change one of my original goals for the site altogether. […]
