Each day when you wake up, you should ask yourself what you can do to make the day better than the one before. What can you do to bring you closer to your ultimate goals? Asking that simple question each morning is half the battle.
But, what about the other half? The solution to keeping yourself on track is to acknowledge and commend your successes and learn from your failures. At the end of each day, write down all of your accomplishments — no matter how small — and feel proud of yourself. You did it.
Keep the negativity out of your accomplishment journal (save it for your regular journal and make sure you write the regular journal entry before you get to the accomplishment journal). Whenever you’re feeling down, crack open your journal and read. While you read, look over all of the amazing things you’ve done and remember that you did it.
