The pot, under no circumstances, should ever call the kettle black. The kettle may decide to speak up.

Okay, kettle. Listen up and learn from Google’s mistakes.

  • When testing a layout, especially when it was designed by someone else, make sure it’s not visible to the public.
  • Google copied when it should have stolen. (”Bad artists copy, great artists steal.Pablo Picaso said that.)
  • When you get caught with your pants down, cover up quickly and address the issue with some explanation. You may look bad in the beginning, but you’ll most likely be able to laugh about it later.
